Spooktacular Food Ideas for Halloween
To all my ghosts, ghouls and goblins here are some of my favorite creepy treats for Halloween.
Deviled Egg Recipe
Boil Eggs and peel
Cut eggs in half
Scoop out yolk
Filling
Yolk
Mayo - add a tablespoon at a time, you don't want a runny filling
Relish - add a tablespoon at a time, you don't want a runny filling
Salt and Pepper
Adobo seasoning
Mix together and scoop into eggs. *
Spider Deviled Eggs
Use black Olives to make your spiders
Eyeball Deviled Eggs
Use black olives for the pupil and a toothpick with red food coloring for the veins.
Mummy dogs
These are fun and so easy that the kids can make them.
Recipe
1 (11oz) package of refridgerated breadstick dough
Cut dough into strips and wrap around hotdogs (leave room for eyes)
8 hotdogs
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375° F oven
Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown
Use mustard to dot the eyes and enjoy.
